Jesus taught four ways to use your faith to live the abundant life. Let's take a look at what the Master had to say about this important Christian subject called Faith.

1. Words - Jesus made a very bold statement. He said you could have what you say if you would believe it in your heart and not doubt.

"For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall whatsoever he saith" (Mark 11:23).

You see, God tells us elsewhere in His Word that your words have power. Your words create pictures on the inside of you of either victory or defeat. What are you saying about yourself and your circumstances? God wants you to begin daily speaking out loud His Word (His promises) which will begin to create an image on the inside of you of being a winner and not a loser.

The Bible has thousands of promises that cover every area of life. Dig 'em up and start speaking them.

"Death and power are in the power of the tongue; and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof " (Proverbs 18:19).

The only things that should come out of your mouth should be those things you want to come to pass. In other words, watch what you say.

"Set a watch, O Lord, before my mouth; keep the door of my lips" (Psalm 141:3).

As you daily speak God's promises out of your mouth then faith will come and you will begin believing, thinking and acting like the victorious, prosperous Christian you were created to be.

2. Prayer - Jesus made another bold statement. He said you could ask your Heavenly Father for anything and He would grant your request. All you would have to do would be to ask the Father in Jesus' name. Of course you would want to make sure there was no sin in your life that would hinder your prayer from being answered.

"And in that day ye shall ask me nothing, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, he will give it you" (John 16:23).

Very important. You release your faith in your words coming to pass and you release your faith in your prayers being answered by acting like you already have what you desired to come to pass. That's faith. You act like you have your desire already met by daily thanking, praising and worshipping God for your words or prayers coming to pass.

You see, "Faith without works (corresponding actions) is dead" (James2:20a).

Sincere thanks, praise and worship to God for Him causing your words coming to pass and your prayers being answered is your faith being released that gives substance to what you hoped to come to pass.

"Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen" (Hebrews 11:1).

3. Action - We know Jesus was a carpenter before He began His public ministry. He was not a professional fisherman like Peter, but one day He asked Peter to cast his net into the sea for a big catch of fish. It was daylight, the time you would not fish. You would normally wait until dark when the fish could not see the net. Peter answered, "Master, we have toiled all the night, and have taken nothing: nevertheless at thy word I will let down the net."

What happened? "They inclosed a great multitude of fishes: and their net brake." You see, even though the circumstances didn't look right, Peter acted on the Word and received a "multitude of fishes." Therefore, when you speak God's Word, pray to God the Father in Jesus' name or simply hear God's Word, you must act on what you say, pray or hear. Act like God's Word (promise) you are speaking has come to pass in your life. Act like God heard and answered your prayer. Act like the promise of God you are standing on has come to pass in your life. That's faith.

Remember, "Faith without works (corresponding actions) is dead" (James 2:20a)

Doubt says, "I don't have it now because I can't see it or feel it. Faith says, "I've got it now even though I can't see or feel it.

4. Sowing and Reaping - Compared to the rich in the world, most of the Church has been broke for hundreds of years because of a failure to name their financial seed. You see, although they named their tithes which took care of the operating expenses of the local church and subsequently took care of their own house expenses, they failed to name their offerings. Result, Satan stole their harvests and left the Church with a paycheck to paycheck broke existence. But that is all changing. God is restoring to the Church an understanding of how to properly sow and reap abundant harvests. He is fulfilling Proverbs 13:22b in these last days:

"The wealth of the sinner is laid up for the just."

So let me show you how to experience a course in miracles  abundance through the biblical principle of sowing and reaping.

Jesus taught sowing and reaping. Remember the crowd on the Galilean shore in Luke 5:3 where Jesus preached to them from Peter's boat. By loaning his boat to Jesus, Peter had activated the sowing and reaping principle. As a result of sowing his seed (boat loan) into Jesus' ministry, Peter got a harvest. A miracle boatload of fish. Look at Luke 5:4-6:

"Now when he had left speaking, he said unto Simon (Peter), Launch out into the deep, and let down your nets for a draught. And Simon answering said unto him, Master, we have toiled all the night, and have taken nothing: nevertheless at thy word I will let down the net. And when they had this done, they inclosed a great multitude of fishes: and their net brake."

Just as a farmer expects a harvest when he sows his seed into the soil, you are to expect (have faith for) a harvest when you sow your finances into a ministry the Holy Spirit has prompted you to support. It could be your local church or some other ministry that is advancing the kingdom of God, reaching souls for Jesus. And make sure you give your seed an assignment by naming your seed when you sow it. You could name it "financial breakthrough," or "financial abundance." If you are a writing a check, write the name of your seed, "financial breakthrough," somewhere on your check.

Important - Sowing is to be a lifestyle, not a one shot thing. You don't name your financial seed, plant it and never sow again. No, continue to sow consistently, naming your seed until your harvest comes in. After your first financial harvest comes in, keep sowing for another financial harvest. The bigger the financial seed you sow, the bigger the harvest. And the bigger the harvest, the bigger the seed you can sow, producing bigger and bigger harvests ushering you into your wealthy place.

It may be a day, a week, a month or a year before your first harvest comes in, but your harvests will manifest in due season. Once they start coming in, you're on your way to living the abundant lifestyle promised you by Jesus Himself.

"Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap" For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting. And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not"(Galatians 6:7-9).
