Boulder is home to two prestigious universities (the University of Colorado and Naropa University), which contribute to the town's large student population. However, Boulder is a desirable location in its own right, and it often appears towards the top of lists of the best places to live. With hundreds of miles of hiking and biking trails and quick trips to some of the nation's top skiing and climbing routes, this area is ideal for students who want to spend every waking moment outside of class in the great outdoors.

Providence may be a relatively tiny city, but it delivers a powerful punch in the realm of higher education. Providence, Rhode Island, is a city that should be high on everyone's college town list since it is phrazle home to Providence College, Brown University, Rhode Island College, and Rhode Island School of Design. There are plenty of great places to eat and drink in this city, and if you can get tickets to a PC basketball game, you will have a fantastic experience.

The Florida State Capital of Tallahassee

Tallahassee is home to a number of prestigious educational institutions, including Florida State and Florida A&M. Since it caters to a young demographic, it often hosts high-profile events and features performances by established artists that you can learn about here. Seeing a game at Texas A&M is a must because of Marching 100, one of the best drum lines in the nation.

Location: Berkeley, CA

Berkeley's location west of San Francisco and close proximity to Silicon Valley (for those impressive internships) make it an attractive option for those considering further education in California. Berkeley is home to the University of California and is a great place for students to study both inside and outside the classroom because to the city's active activist movement and plenty of natural areas.

In the city of Provo, Utah

The majority of BYU's student body is Mormon, and the city of Provo is home to the university. You should be prepared for a more pious social environment and fewer parties, but Provo is a lovely location to live and the college amenities are spectacular because of the surrounding snowcapped mountains.
