Many people often ask "What makes a Challenge Guitar so excellent?"  I quickly mention the superior defensive features that lots of fighters just cannot understand until they've struggled against a Ancient Battle Axe, or till they've learned to play one effectively themselves.  Rarely would you concern yourself with your knife becoming damaged in battle, as opposed to a blade, while defending against attacks.  Above 95% of the system has the capacity to be found in blocking sharp edged tools, with a sword you're restricted to the smooth of a knife or the combination guard.

The battle guitar did have a couple of vulnerabilities, the wooden handle (often made of hard woods for strength) might be worn away if your knight wasn't extreme enough in their fighting style.  If they would use the shaft to block attacks against bladed weapons too frequently, they would ultimately wittle away. Consequently several axes probably produced metal straps over the haft of the gun, just as much medieval conflict hammers did in later years of war. Among the good advantages of the struggle axe was (and still is) wherever it's middle of balance is and it's mass Viking axe .

Unlike a blade (usually balanced close to the hilt), a good axe may stability a couple of inches under the pinnacle (very helpful for the thrown edition of those weapons).  That allowed an strike to drive through defensive obstacles. Also nowadays fire fighters use axes to reduce through opportunities & walls (obstacles) to get at their targets.  A great challenge guitar, effectively looked after & sharp before conflict, would have simply divided aside wood & material shields.

Another important benefit to many axes (especially the halberd, or large axes) would be what many call the beard.  A bearded guitar has a long place at the bottom of the knife applied to pull back in to enemies, or simply to hook glasses and appendages. In fact, several warriors fought for the best reason.  To keep their homes, lively hood & families secure!  I highly recommend that anyone interested in understanding more about a battle guitar, obtain one which is constructed of carbon material & from a respected source.
