Keen doorbells are awesome for observing when bundles arrive, but they can work as a trigger to perform an activity inside your shrewd domestic too. What You Would: like Settle Hi may be a fine framework, but it’s bolted into Google’s environment meaning it can’t perform numerous automations. Ring Doorbells work with Alexa, SmartThings, Google, and IFTTT, but they don’t work with HomeKit. Yobi and Netatmo work with HomeKit, but I haven’t attempted either. Ideas: Get a notice when your bundles arrive by employing a keen doorbell with movement alerts. Pause the TV when somebody rings your doorbell. With IFTTT, have your lights streak on and off when somebody rings the doorbell. With IFTTT, stop a Roomba or Neato vacuum when somebody rings the doorbell.
